The most distinctive feature of the programme is its six transdisciplinary themes. These themes carry something meaningful for all of us involved in the learning process. This thematic framework allows students to learn about or through the specified subject areas and provides for student learning to go beyond the confines of learning only within its traditional subject areas.
The traditional subject disciplines retain an obvious role within the programme. The six specified subject areas are language, mathematics, science, social studies, arts and personal, social and physical education.
