No homework at home!

The pupils should do their homework at school.  Every day children do a lot of homework at home. They do it because the teacher say so. They do homework because the teacher want them to learn more.  

In my opinion the pupils should do their homework at school. The school day can be longer. We can be at school until 15:30 every day.The pupils can finish their homework at school. Then they can relax when they come home.

I think it can be easier to consentrate at school the next day. Without homework we can be more active and spend more time with friends. In my opinion the pupils can learn more and better if they do homework at school. Every pupil have possibilty to get help from the teacher. Not everyone get the help they need at home. 

Please listen to my opinion! We are tired of doing homework at home!

Stop the dog abuse!

There are millions of dogs all over the world and many of them are hurting and being abused every day.   

There are people and dogowners who are mean to dogs.Some of the dogs are used for fighting with other dogs. Some dogs suffer because their owners dont take care of them. They leave them alone without food and water for a long time.Some dogs are also being kicked and beaten by their owner. Dogs who are left alone for a long time can be sick in their head, and they avoid contact with people that will help them. They can also get agressive.   

To help these dogs there should be more animal police. It is very sad to see the dogs like this. Dogabuse is a crime. If you dont like dogs, dont buy one! People who treat dogs bad should be punished.

Please contact the animal police if you see dog being treated bad, because that is our duty.I hate to see dogs and other animal suffer like this.

Let us have a longer lunch time!

Giving the students only 15 minutes to eat our sandwich, drink our milk and eating our fruit, is really not enough. When were kids, we were all thought not to eat to fast, to take our time and chew properly. And when we can`t do that, it starts to become a problem. It resulted in us having to pour our milk out in the sink, wasting a lot of good milk. And when we get home, we don`t want to eat the unappetising leftovers that has been laying in our luchboxes for hours, so that resulted in throwing away food that could have been eaten if we only had time.

Every day I hear my classmates complaining about having a stomach ache after eating lunch. That also includes myself almost every break after lunch time. That`s because when we eat fast, we don`t chew properly and that makes it hard for the stomach to digest; resulting in having a stomach ache. Witch is not fun to have during our break, when we are supposed to play and have fun.

I think the municipality really should do something about this. I bet that there are a lot of other students from other schools that agree. We actually are entitled to have at least 20 minutes to eat. By doing something about it, I think that people will have a better experience at school. That we can walk around full, without stomach pains and without feeling guilty of having to let food and milk og to waste.

The municipality must take action and do something. I`ve literally asked for this to happen in many years, and I`m still waiting. I know that if this will happen, the school days will probably be longer or start earlier, but I don`t care about that. Just please give us some more time to eat our food. That`s all I`m asking for.

Reader`s letter Refugees

I am so angry. People think that people from other countries are not hosting as much as those who were born in Norway.  

I think refugees will live in Norway. Some people think that refugees are bad and dangerous but they are actually the same as us. I do not understand why people can be so little caring for other people.  

Imagine that you were on flight from war and persecution you have been through a long and hard travel and when you finally is in the new country, many people dislike and really just want you out of the country. Had you like it? No I don`t think so. We should treat all people equally.

Next time you see a lonely person in the street, pleas help him or her. Maybe they are refugees or maybe they have children in their home land. Every one should be treated equally anyway skin color or religion.
